I am so pleased to be presenting the last installment of the first ever volume of Canadian Journal of Medical Specialties. Something new is always exciting – but the reality is that the first year is always the most work. I am so pleased to have been surrounded by people willing to give it their all as we worked to establish this unique journal.

Thank you to our Pathology Associate Editor Stephen Yip, our Pathology Copy Editor Erica Schollenberg, and everyone at Canadian Association of Pathologists (CAP-ACP) and on their editorial board for their incredible support. Last month we published our first supplement featuring their 2025 Annual Meeting Abstracts – yet another indicator of CAP-ACP’s faith in this concept.
