I am so pleased to be presenting the last installment of the first ever volume of Canadian Journal of Medical Specialties. Something new is always exciting – but the reality is that the first year is always the most work. I am so pleased to have been surrounded by people willing to give it their all as we worked to establish this unique journal.
Thank you to our Pathology Associate Editor Stephen Yip, our Pathology Copy Editor Erica Schollenberg, and everyone at Canadian Association of Pathologists (CAP-ACP) and on their editorial board for their incredible support. Last month we published our first supplement featuring their 2025 Annual Meeting Abstracts – yet another indicator of CAP-ACP’s faith in this concept.
My gratitude goes out to my art director, Sherri Keenan, who rolled with the punches as we fine-tuned this new concept.
A special thanks to our advertisers – their support makes this journal financially feasible. Be sure to click through on ads that interest you so that they know what is working!
And to our authors who provide the core of it all – our content. From the case studies to the research papers, from the letters to the literature reviews. Every word in this journal has been contributed by volunteers who are passionate about contributing to their specialty.
The commitment of our many volunteer reviewers ensures quality content and a high calibre peer review process. This journal cannot function without the expertise and attention to detail that is provided by these reviewers.
